Women's Historians
Title
Women's Historians
Description
I loved this observation of what it was like to be Nancy Cott and her peers in the '70s. I wanted to know who wrote the only non-patronizing blurb on the jacket. Willie Lee Rose's obit knocked me over.
Finally got my own copy of Nancy Cott’s Bonds of Womanhood and the blurbs say an awful lot about what it was like to do women’s history in the 1970s: “not oppressively researched,” “lovely, gentle,” and “a model of tact” (?!) pic.twitter.com/pfMsCUDGbw
